how green are you? huh??

So living green and saving the environment are about the coolest, most popular things you can do these days. If you want to be cool, you have to change your light bulbs, recycle, eat organic and carpool. So you're probably wondering, well I wonder how cool I am? Wonder no longer, my friend. Simply click here and take the sustainability test. It's cool. Take it.

After spending the entire 7 minutes it takes to complete this test, you will be able to tell your friends how many planet Earth's would be required if everyone in the world lived the way you did. It's pretty interesting. I'll tell you how many planets would be necessary if everyone lived as sustainably as I do, but you have to take the test and tell me your answer first. Seriously, do it. It'll give us something to talk about next time we see each other.

Hey DO(H)!

My total was 4.6

I am not sure if that is better or worse than I expected. Really, I did very well. A slight deduction for travel, but huge strikes against my eating habits.

I knew I was going to uncool when it comes to being green though.

I believe in stewardship, not littering, recycling (when available), and don't but into the whole consumer mentality, but I must admit (and please forgive me), there are more pressing things to be passinate about.

Mine was 3.9

I HATE games where you win if your score is lower.

hate them

We were only really bad in the food department...because we don't buy organic, I guess...but hey...that's not a new problem to me. It's too expensive...so until it's not...forget it.

I'm trying real hard to get my brother to plant a Honeycrisp orchard. That would save us lots of money.

I got 3.5

but i have to add that i worked for a nonprofit that canvassed door to door about making out world green and making the cause known. That said, I had to leave for reasons that i will have to save for a story on my own blog, but i will tell you that while out training with another canvasser, going door-to-door in the heat of the summer from 4-10pm, I passed out at this womans doorstep. It was so crazy! But she got us bottles of water. I drank 2. lol.

When do we get to find out what you got?

ha. ok first can i just say that i literally laughed outloud to see that you commented on my blog.

1, because--i honestly didn't even know anyone knew i had a blog and 2, definitely didn't think anyone (besides my roommates) read it.

which is why it is so long--because its just thoughts thrown up on a computer screen

sooo yea i should probably think about filtering things a little more...

ps. i didn't score too hot.

I'll go ahead and share what I got (and I imagine Heather will be the only person who sees it being that it's in the comments section).

Drumroll... 2.6.

The food area killed me. I had all 1's, one 2, and a 6 in the food area.

My sharing my score doesn't exempt anybody else from still sharing theirs. Go ahead.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a wasteful american cause I got a 4.2. My car and my food got me. I guess that's what happens when you get rid of the 34mpg car for the 16mpg one.

Okay... so far, I'm the winner. I don't but into the whole Less is more winning strategy here.

Can anybody score higher?
